With out wind and water the earth would over heat. Near the equator is more hot and the air and water is hotter. Cold air melt more when its near the equator. Earth rotation makes ocean currents. Water is harder to cold or hot than the earth. The ocean most closed to the poles are colder while the ones near. when earth is on sumemr, then ones that are near are colder and air makes earth a little bit colder. in winter, the nearest rivers, are warmer and air makes the land warmer.

Wind and water makes storms. Hurricanes form in water not in land, the eye of the storm where it is calmed and the other parts are not calm. The wind travel at least 74 miles ( 124 km ) per hour and make rainfall. Katrina was a hurricane in 2005, that cause big terror near Lousiana with winds of 74 miles ( 124 kilometers) per hour. Tornadoes are dangerous but do not affect many places, their winds are from 40 miles to 300 miles.Tornados distroys everything that comes in their way.
